Homemade Bircher Muesli Recipe:
This Bircher Muesli Recipe is ideal for breakfast which is gluten, wheat and dairy free:
75g of gluten free or rolled oats
200ml of unsweetened almond or rice milk
30ml organic natural apple juice
1 tablespoons freshly squeezed lemon juice
1 small organic apple, cored and grated with the peel
1 dessertspoonful of agave syrup to taste
1tsp of Chia Seeds
175g of natural organic goats or sheep’s yogurt
You can the add your favorite fresh fruit, berries, nuts and toasted coconut
Combine the oats, chia seeds, milk, apple juice and lemon juice and let sit overnight in the fridge.
In the morning add the grated apple, agave syrup (to taste), and goats or sheep’s yogurt and mix well.
Top with your favorite fruits, berries and nuts as mentioned above.
